Cold Lake and District Family and Community Support Services strives to foster an engaged community of caring, compassionate
people and healthy, happy families. In partnership with the community, we provide locally-driven, preventative social initiatives, based on current issues, which aim to improve the quality of life of individuals and families. Cold Lake Family Connections is located within FCSS, and offers a variety of programing and an indoor play space.
FCSS is located at 5220 54 Street in Cold Lake South. We are open weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and closed on weekends and statutory holidays. Call 780-594-4495 or email fcss@coldlake.com.
Solution Focused Brief Therapy, offered by FCSS, is a goal-directed collaboration between the client and the therapist. This program is for those who do not have access to services or therapy programs. To learn more about the program and our therapists, click here. FCSS is pleased to be able to offer this service to our community due to a one-time pilot program grant from Imperial. All inquiries are confidential.

The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation, KidSport Alberta and Sport Central have teamed up to launch the KidSport Oil Country Hockey Assist Program!
This initiative supports communities in Oil Country, including Cold Lake, by alleviating the cost of playing hockey for kids from underrepresented groups.
The reality is that hockey is expensive and the cost to participate can be unattainable for some families. Learn more and apply.
