Cold Lake, AB – Cold Lake City Council voted to accept the recommendation of the FCSS Advisory Committee to approve three grants totaling $22,750 under the City of Cold Lake’s Social Inclusion and Infrastructure Grant policy.
The Social Inclusion and Infrastructure Grant was developed by the City of Cold Lake to assist organizations that are seeking to fund projects aimed at assisting vulnerable people in the community. Successful applicants must have a program or project that will mitigate social issues through preventative or intervention-based initiatives, or both.
The grant was established as a five-year program which makes available $100,000 each year, with applications due by Oct. 1 each year. The program had its first intake in 2021, with its final intake set for 2025.
