The City of Cold Lake is navigating the current labour disruption from Canada Post. In order to help businesses and residents receive any payments from the City in a timely manner, the City is recommending any businesses or individuals expecting a cheque to contact City Hall to see if the cheque is ready, followed by making arrangements to pick it up. Individuals or businesses picking up cheques will require to show government-issued ID when picking up. The City of Cold Lake appreciates everyone’s cooperation to accommodate receipt of their cheques until the labour dispute is resolved.
Other mailings, such as Utility Bills, will be placed in the mail as normal. Should any residents require assistance with their Utility accounts during this time, they can call City Hall at 780-594-4494 or email utilities@coldlake.com. Registering for e-billing is also an alternative to waiting on paper bills to be mailed.
