Following the cyberattack on the City of Cold Lake’s IT infrastructure in July, several online services were shut down to allow the City’s IT department to thoroughly review each service before restoring public access.
While most systems and services are back online, Citizen Self-Service remains offline. There is no indication of any data breach, however, the Finance Department is implementing a more modern system to replace Citizen Self-Service and provide a better online accessibility for residents and businesses.
The City of Cold Lake apologizes for the inconvenience and frustration that comes with not having online access to utility and property tax information. Until the new service is brought online, the City appreciates your patience and understanding.
