Cold Lake, AB – Eight residents were awarded a Community Beautification Award for the efforts made to improve their properties in 2024.

“Many of our residents are very proud of their homes and properties in Cold Lake,” said Mayor Craig Copeland. “This award program is a chance for us to reward those who go above and beyond to make their homes look amazing and keep our community looking beautiful.”

The eight residential award winners were: Catherine and Alan Humber, Michelle and Link Law, Erin and Brody Laybolt, Shayne Leveque, Chris Lynch, Darren Pilisko, Francis and Melissa Roller, and Gayle Villecourt. Each winner is awarded $250 and was scored on a scale of up to 15 points, with many entrants receiving a perfect score.

The Community Beautification Award was created in 2023 to encourage residents to make efforts that beautify their residential and commercial properties, specifically curbside improvements along the front of their properties.
