Payment Options

There are several options when it comes to paying your property taxes:

Payment method	Details
In person	Payments can be made at City Hall during regular business hours, using cash, personal cheque or debit.
By mail	Cheque or money orders payable to "The City of Cold Lake" can be mailed to: 5513-48 Avenue Cold Lake, AB T9M-1A1 Make sure to include your property tax roll number to ensure proper allocation of payment.
Online banking	Search for "City of Cold Lake" and add it as a payee in your online banking to make your property tax payments online. Use the roll number found on your tax notice as your account number. (See a sample tax notice). Roll numbers are unique to the property; if you move within the city, you must update your payee account number to the roll number for your new property.
TIPPS Program	Pay your taxes in 12 equal monthly payments with no fees, through the Tax Installment Payment Plan. Check out the TIPPS page to learn more.
By credit card	Pay your taxes by credit card using OptionPay, a third-party service which collects the funds on behalf of the City of Cold Lake. There is a processing fee to pay using this option, which is calculated at the time of payment. The City does not receive any of the administration fee when this payment method is used.
