Canada Day

Cold Lake is a proud military community, a partner with our First Nations neighbours and a four-seasons tourist destination... so when it comes to celebrating Canada's birthday, we go big!
We kick the day off with a parade and continue with all-ages activities and entertainment, vendor alley, beer gardens, and a fireworks display over the lake.
Some of the featured events this year are:

- Hula Hoop Circus
- Multiple musical artists
Parade Floats Wanted
The City of Cold Lake wants to make this year's Canada Day Parade the largest ever! We are looking the following to help fill our parade route:
- Local Business
- Non-Profit Organizations
- Charity groups
- Sports Teams
- Community Groups or Clubs
The application deadline to be in the parade is June 26, 2026. For more information on the parade, please contact the Cold Lake Energy Centre at 780-639-6400.

The Northern Pikes
The Northern Pikes are one of a handful of acts that have a permanent footprint on the psyche of generations of Canadian rock and pop fans. Since first forming in Saskatoon in 1984, the group has had one platinum album with 1990’s Snow in June, four gold LPs, and eight hit singles that remain mainstays across the country.
