Councillor Adele Richardson grew up in Fairview, Alberta and arrived in Cold Lake in 2018. She was first elected to City Council in 2021.

Prior to serving on Council, Adele worked at the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton in several different roles. A nurse by trade, she transitioned into management in 2010 and has managed many units, including Pediatric Medicine, Cardiology, and Pediatric Intensive Care. Adele also served as the AHS Area Manager for Senior's Health, serving Cold Lake, Bonnyville, Elizabeth Metis Settlement and St. Paul. She now is the Site Manager for the Cold Lake Healthcare Centre, a position she has held since May of 2022. 

In her role on Council, Adele's goals include maintaining tax rates, promoting and supporting local business and tourism, and advocating for additional resources to support local health care.

Adele has two teenage children, Emma and Logan.
