The Rezoning Process
The Rezoning Process
If you would like to develop your lot, but do not have the correct district to develop the way you would like, you will have to apply for a rezoning. You can submit your REQUEST to amend the Land Use Bylaw districting, along with required documentation and fees to the Planning & Development Department. If successful, district change can take 5-11 weeks following the process and timeframes below. The timeframe will depend on a number of factors, including City Council's schedule and the outcome of the public hearing.
