Community Helper Training

This program helps identify and train youth that are natural helpers. Young adults are provided the opportunity to strengthen support skills and learn more about mental health issues and suicide prevention. Community Helpers encourage other young people to ask for help when they need it and identify mental health supports in their community. Do you know a teen that others are naturally drawn to for support? Nominate that person to be a Community Helper. Send their email address and phone number to with Community Helper as the subject line. They will be contacted with the option to become a community helper.
