Cold Lake, AB – The City of Cold Lake’s Community Recreation, Art, Culture and Heritage Investment Grant Policy has been updated to allow for council or the grant committee to include some submissions from indigenous communities neighbouring Cold Lake. Cold Lake, AB – Over the course of the winter, the City of Cold Lake received several complaints related to noise violations during the City’s designated quiet hours from 10pm to 7am during the week, and between 10pm and 9am on weekends and holidays.
While a few of the complaints involved road clearing, the majority of the complaints were associated with snow clearing on parking lots attached to commercial businesses.

Cold Lake, AB – Council approved grants to help 23 local groups that submitted applications to the City of Cold Lake’s Community Recreation, Art, Culture and Heritage Investment Grant Program.
Over $95,000 in grant monies was dispersed to the 23 Cold Lake groups and associations in the spring intake of applications. The groups represented a cross section of the community that works to ensure the City offers a strong, healthy and diverse quality of life for all who live here.

Cold Lake, AB – At a Regular City Council meeting earlier this month, Council amended the City’s Animal Care and Control Bylaw to allow for more flexibility for people who own multiple animals within Cold Lake.
