NOTICE OF PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE Cold Lake Regional Utility Services Commission Regional Water Supply Expansion – Phase 1 A public open house will be held on Wednesday August 23, 2017 between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Ardmore Community Centre (4910 - 50 Street, Ardmore, AB).  Information will be available as an overview of the current plans for the major components of the Phase 1 Expansion including: Water Treatment Plant Upgrades 600 mm diameter Transmission Main between the City of Cold Lake and Town of Bonnyville Transfer Station Attendees are encouraged to attend this “come and go” event, ask questions and become familiar with the latest project for the Cold Lake Regional Utility Services Commission.

The public is invited to a Flag Ceremony Relay to celebrate the upcoming Invictus Games in Toronot. The flag for the games passed through Cold Lake a couple months ago, as part of a cross-country tour.  Invictus Games competitors are the men and women who have come face-to-face with the reality of making a sacrifice for their country. They are the mothers, fathers, husbands and wives who have put their lives on the line and have suffered life-changing injuries. The ceremony will be held at the JJ Parr Recreation Centre on Aug. 25, from 9:30 am to noon. In attendance will be Cold Lake athlete Private Martine Duval, who will be participating in the Invictus Games in Toronto.
