At this time our aerodrome provides the following services:
 

Airfield Lighting
The Cold Lake Aerodrome lighting is controlled through an ARCAL Type K. The frequency for the Cold Lake Aerodrome to control lighting is 122.8.

Fuel
The City of Cold Lake provides Jet A-1 and 100LL fuel at the aerodrome. The fuel is available 24 hours a day through a self-serve card lock system that accepts Master Card and VISA only.

 

Terminal Building
There is a terminal Building at the aerodrome adjacent to the apron. The building is open to the public 24 hours a day. Telephone, seating and washroom facilities are available.

General Maintenance
All maintenance at the aerodrome is provided by the City of Cold Lake's Operations Department.

Snow Removal
Snow Removal is provided by the City of Cold Lake as per the City of Cold Lake Snow Removal Policy. The Cold Lake Aerodrome is a Priority 1 in our snow removal policy.

Transient Aircraft Parking
For transient aircraft parking please contact the City of Cold Lake for available spaces and fees.

Land Leases for Hangars and Tie Downs
The City of Cold Lake has 17 land lots which are leased. The lots range in size from 423 square metres to 2,415 square metres. The land is leased at a rate of $116 per square metre.

The City also has a grass tie down area for aircraft that can be leased at a rate of $300 per year for a maximum of 3 years. The grass tie down areas can also be leased on a monthly basis for $30. If your stay in Cold Lake is shorter, we also have a weekly rate of $10 and a daily rate of $5. See the airport's Fees Page for more information.
