This event is happening at the Cold Lake Public Library South Branch in the Reading Garden. There is no cost and all ages can attend. Saturday, June 24 from 1pm to 2pm.

Fill the Boat Food Drive

Give a boatful of food to the Food Bank this summer through the Fill the Boat campaign! Come together with local law enforcement to make a donation of food, to be donated to the Cold Lake Food Bank.

Douglas Country Creative Play

Get ready to be wet, dirty and have some fun! Douglas Country Creative Play offers an outside adventure for young children to play in the coy pond, mine for gold, visit the fairy village, and bring your own picnic to enjoy in the shade of the trees. Ensure you bring all the essentials such as a sun hat, sunscreen, bug spray, water and snacks. Drive out to the Cherry Grove Store, take your first left and it is six houses down on the right.

Boreal Forest Guides - Ages 3-5

Boreal Forest Guides

ages 3 to 5
In partnership with the Boreal Forest Guides, Parent Link will be at the Provincial Park for a guided tour. Families will get to do a short hike, make a nature craft, look at a pond dip, and build a fairy house on the beach with natural materials. Please dress for the weather and bring a picnic lunch. We will meet at the main parking lot by the beach.
